Release of the remaining David Cassidy CDs by BMG – Japan
To whom it may concern,
We are very happy that you released in March 2009 the four David Cassidy CDs:
• Dreams Are Nuthin' More Than Wishes [ 1973 ]
• The Higher They Climb The Harder They Fall [ 1975 ]
• Home Is Where The Heart Is [ 1976 ]
• Gettin' It In The Steet [ 1976 ]
Since "The Higher They Climb The Harder They Fall" and "Dreams Are Nuthin' More Than Wishes" are re-releases from 2002 respectively 2003 we ask that you consider releasing the following David Cassidy CD's to make the back catalog complete:
• Cherish ( Bonus Track: All I Wanna Do Is Touch You ) [ 1972 ]
• Rock Me Baby ( Bonus Track: Along Comes Mary ) [ 1972 ]
• Cassidy Live! [ 1974 ]
You would then have the entire 70s David Cassidy catalog released on CD by BMG - Japan, which is a quiet cool thought. The remastering of the first four CDs by "Kouzi Tanaka" was really fantastic. We had never heard those songs in such a good sound quality. Unfortunately the remastering of the remaining CDs: "Cherish" and "Rock Me Baby" by Buddah Records and BMG / Heritage was not good at all. So it would be worthwhile re-releasing them again plus the CD: "Cassidy Live!" - all with some "Bonus Tracks" as listed.
The David Cassidy album "Cassidy Live!" from 1974 was never released on CD. As Bonus Tracks you could include the two songs "If I Didn't Care" AND "Frozen Noses" also from 1974. The song "Frozen Noses" never appeared on any album or CD in the past. Here are our suggestions for the tracking lists of "Cassidy Live!":
